ATTENDEE TESTIMONIALS

Hear live testimonials from past IDN Summits

I find that the ROI from the networking; educational topics, presenter quality and materials; reverse expo; and interacting with all key supply chain players under one roof for a time extremely valuable for me and my key supply chain staff for very little investment as the paramount reasons we keep coming back to the IDN Summit each time. Its time the C-Suite embraces Supply Chain re-engineering as a key part of hospital and health system financial and operational viability.

Frank J. Cirillo

Senior Vice President and Chief Restructuring Officer

NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation

The opportunity to network with key customers -- IDNs and GPOs -- is why I particularly like IDN Summit meetings; they have an abundance of customers, good speakers, access to decision-makers, and they allow a lot of one-on-one, outside the meeting. Allowing free time, outside of the meetings gives you time for good dialogue with IDNs you may not be doing business with. They are a little more relaxed in an atmosphere like this, as opposed to sitting behind a desk in an office.

We have attended the IDN Summit for the past three years. There is always a quality speaker, educational sessions and outstanding networking opportunities with peers from other IDNs. The reverse vendor fair is an outstanding venue for interacting with suppliers in a meaningful and efficient manner. We look always forward to attending the IDN Summit. Thank you.

Attending the IDN Summit & Expo was a rewarding event. Since vendors came to me, I did not have to search for opportunities and I was able to sequence my calendar for the next several quarters on internal goals and objectives. I prioritized the proposals based upon my needs and many of the initiatives are well under way. The educational content was very timely. As purchasing executives begin to penetrate the C-suite in many institutions, re-engineering healthcare process flow is moving in many positive directions. No longer can materials personnel simply place orders, rotate stock, and perform inventory functions. One must be educated in all facets of Operations, Finance, Revenue Generation, Service Contracting, and even Marketing.

VP of Supply Chain Operations

I find the IDN Summit to be an excellent forum for increasing my knowledge and contacts in the following areas: Industry updates in the educational sessions and product and service updates at the Expo.

NCI Consulting Group (NCI) supplier clients have enjoyed attending the IDN Summits for the last fifteen years. Suppliers have an opportunity to meet with major GPOs and leading IDN executives in a positive reverse booth format accompanied by planned networking environments, which have provided opportunities to strengthen their GPO and IDN relationships and build new relationships at an executive level, all at one event.

I have attended the IDN reverse expo for the last five years. The summit has had a major impact on our exposure to IDN’s and the growth of our business. To be able to present our company to key executives from 50-60 IDN’s in one afternoon is amazing! In the last rive years I have been able to close numerous IDN accounts that have contributed several million dollars in new incremental business. This would NOT have happened except for the contacts I made at the IDN Summit. It’s a meeting I can’t afford to miss.

VP Business Development

This was my first time and we plan to be back next year. This was by far the most beneficial meeting I have attended this year. The reverse format allowed me face to face time with top IDNs and GPOs and the nightly networking events were a huge success.

I can't begin to tell you how measurable my attending was for me. It was truly a great bunch of professional individuals gathering together to network, get educated and have some fun at the same time. You can bet that I will be back and look forward to seeing you and your Team again.

With so many meetings and trade shows in our industry, many suppliers we work with want to be sure they are getting the maximum return from their travel budgets and personnel time. We always recommend the IDN Summit meetings as a 'top show' for networking opportunities. The chance to work with such a large audience of high level decision-makers in one setting allows for a quick assimilation into the corporate account arena and provides strategic opportunities for any supplier. It is also a great occasion to stay close to the issues affecting healthcare delivery and a venue to be involved in improving them.

IDN Summit is the only venue that I know of where all the key stakeholders are brought together to really dialogue, collaborate, and help transform the care chain industry in healthcare.

For us, the IDN Summit & Expo was a shortcut to learning the marketplace, in a matter of days. When we went to the IDN Summit & Expo we were able to very quickly talk to all the people we needed to talk to.

With our sponsorship of IDN Summit meetings, we see tremendous value; we have actually been able to document specific new business closures that are a direct result of our sponsorship.

In our industry, we tend to get stale. We tend to look at the same best practices over and over. We really need to look outside that box. We need to look at other manufacturers -- like Dell -- and learn how they've been successful. IDN Summit takes the lead and brings these concepts to healthcare. IDN Summit goes out on a limb to challenge providers and suppliers to work to find a common interest and ways to reduce costs in the care chain. A lot of other organizations -- other than AHRMM, which focuses on the provider itself -- don't really do that. The reason I attend this meeting is that IDN Summit is a neutral party able to bring suppliers and providers together to try to reduce care chain costs. The reality is, without the supplier on board we are never going to be successful. The fact that the IDN Summit includes suppliers in everything they do, every session they do, to help suppliers understand what hospitals are going through and how they can help reduce costs, is definitely the key differentiator for me.
